Question : Problem: Does anyone know if apple is going to discontinue the macbook and/or macbook pro?

I am thinking about buying another laptop aside from my alienware because it is too big to carry around and I would like to get a macbook.  I do not like the new Macbook air that just came out, but I'd like to buy the regular macbook.  Does anyone know if they are going to be discontinuing the macbook in the near future and fully replacing it with the air?  Does anyone have any information on this or know anything about the macbook status?  I really dont want to buy a macbook if they are going to discontinue them next year.  Any help would be great!

I dont think they would discontinue macbooks as this is mid price range. Air is much more expensive. Why destroy the winning formula?
