Question : Problem: I need my Mac's resolution to be (1366 x 768)

I have a Dual 2GHz PowerPC G5 running Mac OS 10.3.9 hooked up to my VIZIO P50 HDM Widescreen 50-in Plasma Monitor through a DVI to HDMI cable. I can see the picture on the screen and it looks very clear. The only problem is it’s a little too tall and the top menu bars get completely cut off. I need the resolution to be (1366 x 768). Unfortunately Mac does not provide me with a resolution that size. Does anyone know how I can get this monitor to fill the screen and still look sharp?

Answer : Problem: I need my Mac's resolution to be (1366 x 768)

It seems like only iMac has the Geometry thing.  I read a bit more and it seems that there is no way you can get that resolution with DVI-HDMI.  The only solution is to hook up VGA using analog :(.  Have a read at:
