Question : Problem: New battery not working
I had a message come up on a laptop (Dell Latitude D810) saying something along the lines of "Your battery is coming to the end of its life". So I got a new one.
The new battery will not work in the laptop. I have another D810 so I charged the battery in there and tried again. Still nothing. I then used the old battery in my other laptop and it works fine and I don't get an error message. So all 3 batteries work fine in one laptop, it seems the problem laptop will only work with the battery that it claims is on its last legs. What the shizzle is going on?
Answer : Problem: New battery not working
Have you updated the bios? There was a battery health meter problem on the D810's(I use to have one) that was fixed with a bios update.
