Question : Problem: Monitor not detecting 9800 GTX GCard

Hi,
I have recently puchased a new computer, bought all the parts seperatly, and built it myself, one of the parts I purchased was the BFG 9800 GTX 512mb Graphics Card.
I put the computer together, not much problem at all, Thought I have finished, turned it on, no problem, but .. my monitor.. (ASUS MK241) Doesn't work. .. This worked fine on my old computer, which was a 8800 GTS 320 Graphics card, plugged it in, played no problem, but when I plug it into the 9800, it doesn't seem to detect it.
I have plugged the GCard into the motherboard, and plugged the 2 cables from the PSU into it for the fan (2 x 6-pin power cables)
Is there anything else I need to do? :s
