Question : Problem: error message C1

A computer at our store here stoped displaying video, checked video card (8800 Ultra) and works fine. Tested another PCI-E card and still nothing, tried a PCI video card and still nothing. The motherboard has a little diag box on it and it gives the code "C1". I looked through the motherboard manual and found nothing but tips on how to OC components. Not very helpful. Anyway if anyone could help me out with this it would be much appreciated. Also there are 4 gigs of Corsair Dominator in it.

Answer : Problem: error message C1

Strip it down to the minimal configuration: video card, one RAM module, motherboard, keyboard and mouse.  If it doesn't boot, you have a serious problem and may need a new motherboard or power supply (the power supply is cheaper to swap out).  If it boots, start adding components back until it stops working.
