Question : Problem: harddrive probelms

I have a desktop computer that I cannot get started it has 4 beeps. I think it is a motherboard issue so I had a back up computer. I took the harddrive out of the first one and made it a slave it is hooked up externally but I need to access some programs on the master drive from the other computer which I just hooked up as a slave is there a way to do that? or do I need to install everything again.

if the programs are on the second drive (you hooked up as slave) - NO you cannot run the programs on it, since they need to use the registry from that disk; while you are now using another registry..
you can copy data without problems, but you need to isntall the programs again.
