Question : Problem: Error message on screen "out of range"

Hi
I have got a Protouch LCD screen attached to a shuttle PC. It has been working fine for 18 months but now i get an error message "out of range". When the PC first boots up I get the Windows start up screen (with the animated status bar) showing the system is booting up. However (I think) when it tries to flip from the initial screen to the windows screen something happens and i get this message - I am 99% sure it is a message from the screen as opposed to from Windows.

I have spoken to the manufacturer but they haven't been much help - any ideas on how to fix it or what has gone wrong?

thanks
Nick

Answer : Problem: Error message on screen "out of range"

When the machine starts - press F8 (Just when the screen turns black after the bios loads - before the XP progress bar appears)
Then select - VGA Mode (if you have) - and if not, Safe mode.
Right Click anywhere on the desktop and select "Properties"
Go to the "Settings" tab, click "Advanced", go to the "Monitor" tab and change the refresh rate to the lowest settings.
