Question : Problem: Active Sync 4.5 & PDA running windows mobile 2003

Want to use Active Sync to sync my outlook 2003 with a PDA running windows cd 2003 version.
I installed A.S- on my xp pro machine (ver. 4.5) and didn't see in outlook any place to configure any conduits. I have a bluetooth enabled system but it seems that it tries to sync the first time with a usb cable.

is there any way to sync the first time using bluetooth between the pda and PC?
Are there any settings in outlook that i need to enable first , if so where b/c i can't see anything.
After installing A.S - 4.5  it gave me a message that there is no default mail clent but that is inaccurate b/c i'm using outlook 2003.

Thanks.

You shouldn't have to do anything special in Outlook.  You can use Bluetooth for ActiveSync, but you must first set up a sync partnership between the Bluetooth enabled PC and the PDA.  You will have to make each discoverable to one another so they can create the partnership.  You will most likely want to create a com port for the partnership type.  I'm only really familar with 5.0, so sorry if I'm not more specific about that.
