Question : Problem: Active Sync Mogul exchange and pop severs syncing

I have a user that wants to sync his calendar and email through the exchange .  He wants to keeps his phone/contacts seperate not synced with his Outlook/exchange contacts on his desktop.  But he wants me to back up his phone contacts.
I have tried to make this happen for him twice now and each time some how i am deleting or overwriting his contacts on his phone and he is left no contacts on his phone. Needless to say I am not his favorite person.
In order to back up the contacts on his phone, Ihave installed activesync on a different computer in the office  and created a dummy outlook account. I plug the phone in with a usb cable, active sync start up detects the phone attempts to sync. It errors out saying that it doesnt recognise the profile WM_(Usersname) relationship.  I try again and agian. The only option i see to get arround the error is to delete mobile device and that deletes all of the data stored in his contacts. How can i accomplish his desires.

I think you have to choose a different name for the relationship.
But if you just want to save contacts you can take a backup with this freeware :

Contacts will be saved in a file and easily recoverable without the hassle of a new relationship (and the risk data will be merged between differents relationships on the phone).
