Question : Problem: Dell Latitude C810 not recognizing new wireless card

I just replaced the modem card with a wireless card.  The computer does not recognize that the wireless card exists.  What should check before assuming the new card is bad?  The computer is a Dell Latitude C810 that is a dual boot for Windows 2000 and Windows XP Professional.  I only tried the XP since that is the one that will be using the wireless.  The wireless card is an Intel WM3A2100 that was sent to us by Dell.  When I removed the wireless and replaced the Modem, the computer recognized the modem so I'm assuming that the connection to that point is good.

Answer : Problem: Dell Latitude C810 not recognizing new wireless card

The Dell Latitue C810 only comes with Windows 2000 apparently, or at least, you can only get 2K drivers from the Dell website. [ http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/driverslist.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=gen&ServiceTag=&SystemID=LAT_PNT_P3C_C810&os=WW1&osl=en&catid=&impid= ]
This would suggest that it isn't supported in XP, you might try contacting the manufacturers of the device.

I'd try it from Windows 2000 and get the driver from the above link.
