Question : Problem: Error 1068 involving Network
I have a problem similar to the one referenced in another question:

I'm running Windows Vista Business SP1 on an HP Pavilion dv6875se laptop. I have installed the latest network drivers for the embedded wireless cars (Intel Pro Wireless 3945ABG). I get no network connectivity.
When I go to the Network and Sharing Center I get a window that says: "Windows could not start the Network Connections Service on Local Computer. Error 1068. The dependency service or group failed to start".
Looking at services, Network Connections depends on Network Store Interface and RPC. Network Store Interface depends on NSI Proxy Service. I can find all entries in the Services list except NSI Proxy Service.
This worked and abruptly stopped working.
If I can find and get the NSI Proxy Sercice running, I'm guessing that will resolve the problem...
Any insights would be appreciated.
