Question : Problem: DesignJet 500 network setup

Can someone please walk me through the steps to install a network printer.

Steps I think I should follow.

Create new TCP port for the printer (I don't know how to get the IP address)
Add the Printer as a Local printer through the port created above using the correct driver (I think I have)
Should be able to print to it.

Simple question finding the IP address of it is probably the answer so its easy points :) please help.
