Question : Problem: POST doesn't show up in boot cycle

I just replaced a power supply.  My computer responds now but the POST text doesn't show up in the boot cycle and it goes right into windows.  The graphical display is about 25% smaller than it was before I replaced the power supply.  The power supply is a high quality 1000 watt model.  The motherboard is a SuperMicro X7DCA-L with dual quad core processors.

if you suspect the bios, i first try the default settings
then i take out the battery (after disconnecting AC) for a minute or 2, put it in and try again.
last resort is bios update, latest revision is BIOS Revision:  R 1.1a
