Question : Problem: Scanjet 3300C Power Supply

I just bought a HP scanjet 3300C without any cables. i.e just the scanner.
I have got a usb cable.
But my main problem is the power supply. What sort of power supply does it use? Can I use an adapter?

look here, it needs a power supply : 12 V, 1.25 A (15W supply)

i think any one with the correct plug should work.
