Question : Problem: HP LaserJet always trying to print on both sides of the paper
How do i stop this.
The user has tried every setting including logging in as administrator and turning of Duplex Printing (which should be the solution), however it continues to do so.
We've tried deleting the printer so that the driver is removed then restarting the pc. When he logs on the printer is connected and installed again by the logon script (as expected) but the problem continues
Answer : Problem: HP LaserJet always trying to print on both sides of the paper
Assuming windows XP and PCL driver, there are 2 places to change this setting:
1.printing preferences
2.printer properties>advanced tab>printing defaults button
the second overrides the first.
Also, application settings(e.g. page setup in word)can override print driver settings.
