Question : Problem: Do I need to backup ConflictandDeleted folder for DFS and how?

I recently setup Replication in windows 2008 between two servers and I am curious if I need to backup the ConflictAndDeleted folder under DFSrPrivate folder and how other than stopping the DFS service?

Answer : Problem: Do I need to backup ConflictandDeleted folder for DFS and how?

In my environment I do not back that folder up. Its primary use is for data recovery when files/folders are mistakenly lost or overwritten during the replication process. So it's a handy, quick, place to recover things....but if your backup routine is solid, and protects all of the files contained in your DFS root, then I don't see a need to backup that folder (my two cents!).
