Question : Problem: VPN Connections - How to connect more than 1

Hi, I am having problems with my VPN tunnel which is ongoing and very annoying.

As a side-issue I'm asking the remote users to connect via the "dial-up" VPN connection created in "my network places".

There are 2 users, both on XP Pro SP2, their local router is a Netgear DG834G, when one of them connects via VPN by clicking on the connection anyone else on the same LAN is unable to connect.

I'm not sure how far off the mark or how vague im being but need help either way.

Thanks

Chris

Answer : Problem: VPN Connections - How to connect more than 1

The problem is, other end can maintain only one vpn session with one public ip. So when the first user goes out using the public ip assigned on the NetGear, it is used up. Now when the second guy tries to connect, the remote side will disconnect the first one.

If you have 2 public ips, you can probably do that by static mapping.

Cheers,
Rajesh
