Question : Problem: Windows - Delayed Write File - using Western Digital WD 3200d032-00 500 GB error

I keep getting a Windows Delayed Write File -
- Windows was unable to save all the data for the file Y:\$Mft. The data has been lost. This error may be a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere.
What could be causing this? I'm not backing up any files or copying to that drive? - I do not have anything of Western Digital as installed. I don't want the backup feature that comes with the device and I can physically see that something is constantly accessing the Western Digital drive because of the blue light constantly flickering.
