I have XP, and no sound. So far, no solution have been positive. Does Microsoft have any links to help diagnose such problems?

Is this a computer or laptop hich has High Definition audio and has been downgraded(upgraded in some opinions) from Vista?
If so you may need to install the MS UAA driver before the audio driver.
