Question : Problem: Samsung LCD's with built in PC for Digital Signage

Does anyone have any experience with the Samsung LCDs with the built in pc and MAGICINFO pro digital signage software?  I am looking for an all in one solution for a lobby and this seems like a good one, but I can't find any reviews of how well the software works, how easy it is, etc.

Thanks

Answer : Problem: Samsung LCD's with built in PC for Digital Signage

I've not used these, but the demos at Lanway are very impressive.   The LCD's don't actually have a "built in PC" (although like all modern displays they're microprocessor driven) => they're network devices that the Samsung software can address individually to control what each unit displays.

VERY impressive from all the info I can find on them -- and clearly they work very well.   You control them from a single PC -- and reconfiguring them as desired seems very simple.

Here's one of the application demos:  http://www.lanway.co.uk/casestudies/pendleton.pdf

The Matrix ID software seems very intuitive in the few screens where it's shown in Samsung's demo video [http://www.hitechnology.co.uk/products/manufacturer/Samsung/640_480_preview.wmv ]

Always difficult to confirm without actually see/feel/touching the software ==> but it certainly looks like this is a VERY nice system.
