Answer : Problem: How do you connect PC to TV

The specifications for your TV show that it has 3 HDMI inputs ==> so that's how you should connect it.   This will keep the signal in the digital domain and give you the best picture quality.

Buy a good cable [Here's a 35 foot DVI -> HDMI cable:  http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10231&cs_id=1023101&p_id=2809&seq=1&format=2   and here's a 50 foot one:  http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10231&cs_id=1023101&p_id=2751&seq=1&format=2 => Monoprice is an excellent source and they do ship to Europe (although you may be able to find a UK supplier that's easier for you]

You won't be able to exactly clone your monitor, since you have a 16:10 monitor and a 16:9 TV.   I'd make the TV the primary monitor; then adjust the nVidia control panel to compensate for the overscan.   The 8600 will support 1920 x 1080 output (with overscan compensation the actual Windows area will be slightly less), so your system will look great on the TV.
