Question : Problem: Custome Resolution for lcd
PC configuration ANTEC SONATA III 500 ASUS M3A78-EH AMD X2 5600+ 4GB DDR2 800 ASUS EN9600GT Driver Version. 6.14.11.7116 Seagate 32GB SATA ASUS DVD-RX 20X LG 22" L226W
Ok so, my monitor was connected using normal VGA cable before & I could see resolutions like 1280 X 768 1280 X 720 etc. I just connected using DVI cable & resolution automatically changed from 1280 X 768 to 1680 X 1050 which is the native resolution of the monitor. At this resolution things become so small that you can not read anything comfortably. Now, my pc is not showing any 16:10 or 16:9 resolutions other than the native resolution. I prefer to have 1280 X 768 or 1280 X720. Things are readable at this resolution & clarity is not compromised either. When I go to NVIDIA control to Manage custom resolutions, it will always fail the test & without testing you can not apply the resolution.
