Question : Problem: Cannot update NIC Driver

My current Intel Gigabit Network Connection Driver Version is 9.4.21.0(19/Jul/2006)
and i am running a new software that requires a new driver. i downloded the new driver version for my NIC .10.3.39.0 Rev. A (24 Sep 2008). i run the installation for the new driver,restarted the sys,  but when ever i check the driver property i found that i had the old driver version !?

Answer : Problem: Cannot update NIC Driver

i downloaded the new drive from Intel Link is:

it manage to update the driver version to 9.12.30.0 (29. Sep.2008) instead 9.4.21.0(19/Jul/2006)
