Question : Problem: Static Ip on a Network Bridge

Im running windows server 2003 with 2 intel nics.  I enabled both nics and did a bridged connection for load balancing.  I need to set a static ip back on the server but when i open up the properties on the bridge and select the 1st nic, go to assign a static i get an error saying the following:  See attached.
Do i need to assign a static on both nics or what am i doing wrong?

Perfect. Real easy then.  Unbridge the 2 NIC's and Assign the 231.x & 208.x IP's on the server NIC's and the 220 gateway address on just one of the NIC's and everything will work just as you are wanting.
Users will be able to connect to the server on their respective networks.
