Question : Problem: Linksys Wireless Range

Here I sit, in a room no bigger than 10x10ft. The room contains a linksys BEFW11S4v2 and a laptop with a WPC11v3. Both have been reset to factory defaults, including no WEP and linksys as the SSID. I am watching the signal strength on the laptop bounce from around 86% to No Signal every other second.

What I don't get is that I used to have this setup going about 30 feet through 3 walls with no problem. Help.
