Question : Problem: BLOOMBERG KEYBOARD KEEPS SHUTTING OFF

i work at a company with approx. 160 bloomberg users
for some reason we are having a huge problem where the bloomberg keyboards that bloomberg provides for us, keep losing power.
we were informed by bloomberg that its a driver issue, yet all the drivers that they supply for us are not working
im almost positive that this is a power issue but nobody seems to know how to fix it.
when a user is using the keyboard it will just lose power, (the LCD will shut off on the keyboard, and it becomes unusable)
when we reseat the usb cable, windows identifies its and it begins working again, but, as you can tell, this causes a huge problem as the BB keyboard is the only one attached to the users computer
any ideas? has this happened to anyone before?

I'm happy to report that I no longer work at the bank that used these keyboards.  We didn't have this specific problem, but I would hate to have to use one on a daily basis.

If this is indeed a power-related issue, adding external DC power should take care of it.  I'm anxious to hear the outcome.
