Question : Problem: as if keyboard 'm' key stuck down?

I have a wireless logitech keyboard and mouse connected to my PC (win XP MC SP3) and suddenly the other day the PC seems to think that 'm' is held down contantly?

I have tried disconnecting / reconnecting etc, rebooting, reinstalling etc etc but as m is held down i cannot type or even click on certain things. this even occurs after no keyboard or mouse is connected!

very strange issue and has made my PC completly useless at the moment any help will be very much appreciated

So even if you completely remove the keyboard - not attached in ANY WAY you are still getting the m character repeating??!!
