Question : Problem: ARcServe 9.0 suddenly asking for second tape

ARcServe 9.0 (running on Server 2003) has suddenly started asking for a second tape for the back up even though the data has not increased on the server its backing up, in fact data has recently decreased.

Does the tape drive need cleaning?
Does this occur on all tapes? Everyday?
Do you do incrementals of fullbackups every day?
Did you try to relabel/format the tapes that gave you headache?

>> The odd thing is that it is happening on two different servers in two different locations....
How are these sites related? Are the servers installed the same day? Connected? Same media?
