Question : Problem: format can not be success

Dear,

      I have brough the new notebook hard disk(Fujitsu-MHT2030AT) for removable hard disk. I am using winXP.
      I use usb2.0. The connection is ok. When i use the disk manager to format the hard disk. That express "the driver can not be formated successfully". In one time, i format this hard disk the computer is down, so will it affect the hard disk ?

    what can i do and how can i do

Have you tried removing the partitions first, then recreate them? Afterwards, tried another format?

btw, I'm not use what you meant with: "In one time, i format this hard disk the computer is down"
