Question : Problem: Need help flashing BIOS on ASUS board

I am having a hard time trying to flash the BIOS on a brand new P5L-MX ASUS motherboard.  Any known issues with this motherboard?  I can't get it to flash with any method I use; floppy, DOS, internet/windows.  The BIOS is an AMI version 0501.  Please help.  Thanks.

If the bios identifies the hard drive size properly , you don't need to flash the bios. This situation occurs when the XP install cd doesn't have SP1 or greater on it.
Does you XP install cd have SP1 or SP2 included? If not you can slipstream the SP into the XP cd and then run the install.
