Question : Problem: Unable to install Audigy SE card
My Audigy SE was working fine until I changed motherboards. Now, when I start Windows XP, I get a message about a new "multimedia audio controller" being found. When I try to let it install automatically, I get an error that it cannot install. When I try to install from a specific location - the original installation CD - I get an error message that a driver cannot be found. When I run the installation CD or the latest software from Creative, I get an error message:
Setup is unable to detect a supported product on your system. Please ensure that your product is properly installed before running this Setup program. Setup will exit.
I have tried the above multiple times, and I have tried moving the Audigy card to a different slot. I have also tried completely uninstalling all SoundBlaster software. Nothing works. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Answer : Problem: Unable to install Audigy SE card
If your motherboard has on-board sound then disable it in the BIOS.
