Question : Problem: Asus p4p 800 won't post no bios continuous beeps
I had some fans that were failing and decided to put some new ones in. Unfortunately I think in doing that I caused some issues. First problem was a pattern on my monitor but nothing but weird colors. I replaced the video card and now I just get the splash screen with Asus p4p 800, I get one beep when booting and then after about 5 seconds or more I get what seems to be continuous beeps that are fast and don't seem to want to stop. I am in big trouble here as I am not the most knowledgeable person. It seems that the power supply is working of course as fans come on and the mobo light comes on but beyond that I am worried the mobo got fried. Thanks
Answer : Problem: Asus p4p 800 won't post no bios continuous beeps
disconnect all devices : cards, disk, cd drives
can you enter bios now? if not, it can be a bad mobo
if you can enter bios, attach (with pwr off) 1 device at the time : disk, cd..
if you can enter bios, try default settings.
