Question : Problem: LCD TV as computer monitor

is there any bad health effects if i use my LCD tv as a computer monitor (like sitting too close to a CRT TV for long periods of time)?  or is it just like a regular computer monitor once you hook the tv up to your computer? thanks.

Answer : Problem: LCD TV as computer monitor

LCD monitors can handle higher resolutions than LCD TVs, so you may lose desktop space and sharpness.  They are fine for movies and videos, though.  No harmful effects from sitting close.
