Question : Problem: Out Of Range Error Message

What does it mean when there is no output on the monitor screen and instead you get the
message: "Out of Range"  ? Is the problem in the monitor, the graphics card, or the motherboard ? Also, I had a problem with the power supply some time ago. Is it possible that a faulty power supply is causing this?

Answer : Problem: Out Of Range Error Message

It just means that the resolution on your PC monitor and the external one are not the same. Right click on the desktop and take properties. Go to Settings. Click monitor2, check the box to extend Windows and in the same window, adjust the screen resolution and things should be fine.
