Question : Problem: Can't telnet between a new vlan and an existing vlan on a 6509 switch

I have created a new vlan to add new clients to our network.  I have created the vlan and can ping anywhere in the network but when I go to telnet to host on other Vlans it either won't connect or takes about 3 minutes to return the login screen.  IP routing is enabled on the switch and I can see the VLan as being directly connected.  Any suggestions??

So from a VLAN 29 host you can ping a VLAN24 host but you can't telnet to it?

If that's the case, then there's a firewall or ACL blocking it. Since the source and destination are connected to the 6509 and there's nothing blocking it there, I would look at the hosts. If they are Windows devices, make sure the firewall feature is either disabled or allows telnet.
