Hello,
I am encountering an error while trying to connect to an AP using INTEL's wireless client specified.
The error is: "failed to update profile list. profile database in use. please wait for intel proset/wireless to update the profile list."

OS: WIN2K SP4
Workstation: Laptop Dell Latitude D620

Any experience with this kind of issue? Some resolution feedback would be appreciated.

I have had that happen a lot,  what fixes it for me every time is to uninstall the proset completely and re download the driver and install the program altogether.

Find your Dell service tag (sometimes is in start-programs-dell accessories) then go to support.dell.com and paste in your service code to get the correct driver and install it.
