Question : Problem: Symantec backup exec 12

how do I backup a file to a local folder on same pc via Symantec backup exec 12?  and what are the initial steps to create a new job right after the Symantec backup exec 12  is installed?

Answer : Problem: Symantec backup exec 12

Open up Backup Exec and run the wizard.  You can build a job based on a policy, which is what all mine are created from.

Here is a link to Symantec's support page.  This applies up to 11D, but I am pretty sure it will give you the help you need for 12.
