Question : Problem: Secure CRT not connecting to SSH device while Putty does
Hello, I have setup SSHv2 on my Cisco 2811 rtr and I am trying to use secure CRT to access it, however I cannot. I guess I don't know the proper settings or something. I used Putty on the same machine and it worked fine. I even used wireshark during my secure CRT session and it showed that the SYN packet and the ACK packets were successfully transmitted. It shows that I am connected when I check that I want to use the firewall to connect, but when I don't (because I don't) it doesn't show that I am connected. When it does show that I am connected there is nothing on the screen.
The rtr is on the other side of the FW and I used to telnet to it with Secure CRT without any issues.
I can also connect to all of my other SSHv2 clients without any issues. It is just my external router that I am having problems with.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
