Question : Problem: What is the recommmended RAID for Server OS partition?

I'm thinking choosing RAID10 for OS partition. My OS might be windows server2003 or 2008? I'm not sure which is the right decision choosing RAID either RAID1 or RAID10.

Answer : Problem: What is the recommmended RAID for Server OS partition?

The best RAID option for your OS is RAID 1. It has several advantages over other RAID types when a failure occurs.  Firstly, it is the fastest of the RAID types (except for RAID 0, which is not fault tolerant).  Secondly, if a drive fails, there is no performance penalty while waiting for a rebuild, which is important for a high-availability server.

Then add antoher raid set for yout other data.
