Question : Problem: How to get rid of ".DS_Store" files?

Hi,

Each time I copy files from Mac (mostly OS 10.3.9) to my PC (Windows XP) using my Flash drive (the small key chain like 64mb-128mb sort of small thing), (or maybe from Win to OS also), I end up with whole bunches of ".DS_Store" files or maybe other .* files that are normally invisible in the OS in each folder that I copied, which is pretty annoying.

How can I prevent this from happenning each time?
