Question : Problem: Local Disk Space

I was about to remove a program using control panal add/remove...and I was shocked to find under add/remove programs, almost all my programs were gone!!! It seems like they are running OK, but under add/remove almost all are the not there, there are things like "ccCommon" and "Copy"...all with the little icon beside it looks like a little computer screen with the cd in front of it...my local disk is showing 51.1 GB free out of 74.4, when before it was more like 40GB free, I don't know what to think!!!

ccCommon i believe is a spyware program,  and that or other spyware maybe whats causing the ose other programs to not be shown, suggest you get a spyware removal program adaware is a good free one, you can also run an online scan from PcCillin called housecall that will also remove and viruses and trojans the spyware may have installed or came with, and removing the spyware should free up thst disk space and improve the performance of your system which has proable been running slower than it should
