Question : Problem: HP Compaq dx6100ST disk error on bootup when usb printer connected

HP Compaq dx6100ST disk error on bootup it only happens when I have the Brother MFC-620CN plugged in via the usb port on the pc - I have disconnected the usb printer and it boots fine - I then tried booting up with an external usb hard drive and it booted ok any ideas ?

I have solved the problem by formatting the hard drive and reinstalling the O/S from scratch and then downloading the Mobo drivers etc from HP and then installed the printer drivers then it worked fine.
It seems to have only been a problem when the system was rebuilt using the HP system recovery software.
