Question : Problem: I open Outlook and the Display changes to 640x480 and 8bit color

After it opens, I can go in and change the display settings back to normal, but its only Outlook that does it and it happens every time.

The only software that might be suspect is all the stuff that comes with an HP computer and also HP Laserjet All-in-One software (This always seems to cause problems) I've tried reinstalling all of the HP stuff and it still did it with or without.

Also, Maximizer is installed and I know it's a fairly buggy program, I haven't tried reinstalling it though, as it is very heavily used.  Also, starting Outlook in safe mode still resets the display.

Any ideas are appreciated as I am running dry right now.

Resolved,

I deleted the ost file and the problem is fixed.

I probably could have ran scanpst.exe on it, but it was small so I deleted it and re-opened outlook to recreate the new offline file.

I still don't know what caused it, but if it happens again I'll put some more effort into finding out.
