Question : Problem: USB Disk automatically removes my big file ! > 600MB

Hi,

I recently bought MP3 player which you can store files on it too.

This is the one I bought: http://www.adata.com.tw/adata_en/product_detail.php?ProductNo=116
I bought the 1 GB version.

I'm running this on Win XP Pro SP2.
The Hard Disk is NTFS and the USB Disk is FAT32.

The problem is:

When I copy an ISO file (just copy&paste) with the size about 630MB, it takes time to be copied normally .. I checked the disk usage and it shows that that it used about 630MB .. then I see the file is on the disk .... I do "Safely Remove Disk" .... no problem till now.
But when I connect the USB Disk again, I don't see the file any more!! and I check the disk usage and it is completely free (because there is nothing but the ISO file originally)!!

I felt that it can't copy one big file ... so what I did is that I splited the file WinRAR into 98MB each file and copied them to the USB Disk .... diconnected it ... and connected it back again .. and it worked! the files didn't disappear!

Is this normal behavior ? or I have a damaged USB Disk ????

Please help me,
Thanks.
