I got a compaq presario R3306us. There is a power on password on this computer and I can't get past it. I have read some of the other responses, but I would feel more secure working on my computer with a personal response for computer

if there is a password on it, you will need to contact Compaq, and give proof of ownership; then they' ll help you.
i don't think you'll get past the password otherwise.
