I am building myself a new computer, and have purchased most of the components, which include the processor and motherboard. When I've previously built computers for myself, I've always purchased motherboard/processor combos, where they were already assembled upon delivery to me. What I've purchased this time around was separate, and therefore I need to install the processor and heatsink/fan myself. Not having much experience with this, I'm not sure what type of thermal grease I should buy. It seems that I should use it for this type of processor, it is said to run hot if not cooled properly. I was going to give my stock heatsink/fan a try before buying something else. I would very much like to invest in top-of-the-line thermal grease so that I can ensure proper cooling of this processor. So, like the title suggests, I would just like to know what brand name/type that the experts tend to use. Thanks in advance for any good suggestions!
