Question : Problem: Microphone only recording my voice in "chipmunk" mode
On my HP notebook, running Vista Home, my voice is recorded in "chipmunk" mode when I'm talking thru Yahoo messenger or Skype. The person on the other end only hears my voice as a "chipmunk", meaning it's high pitch.
Does anyone know how I can fix this? I tried messenger and Skype from another PC in my house and my voice was fine on the other end, so it's not my bandwidth or something like that... it's definitely my laptop. What can I do to fix this?

To try: update or reinstall drivers for your soundcard
workaround ;) - talk much slower and deeper than you normally do.
