Question : Problem: OS wont bootfrom specific hard drive
I have 3 x WD Cavier (SATA) drives in my computer.
Initially i had:
1 drive running Vista
2 drives storing files
I needed to install XP, so reformatted one of the drives, made a new partition on the drive and installed XP on that drive.
Problem:
My computer will only boot from the XP drive. It will not boot from the Vista drive anymore.
What i have tried:
- Change the boot priority of the hard disk drives so that the Vista HDD was Boot # 1. This returned a error along the lines of "OS could not be found".
- Taken out all the hard drives except for the VIsta HDD and it says the same thing.
Some important points:
When i run the XP OS. Under my computer it has labelled the XP HDD as C:, the Vista HDD as D:, and the data HDD as E:
Can anyone help?

You can also leave it all hooked up and just run the repair from the Vista disk:
