Question : Problem: Dell 4700 audio w2k

Can't find driver for 82801FB ICH6 AC'97 Audio Controller - audio for dimension 4700 running windows 2000... i read that the ICH6 is compatible with the ICH1 and ICH3 and although soundmax comes up as using those and is the driver dell tells you to load, it does not work... if you google this many people are having audio trouble.
