Question : Problem: can i connect my laptop wirelessly to my samsung LCD TV?
|
|
Hi, wondered if there was an adapter of some kind that I can connect my laptop to my samsung LCD 46" tv? I want to be able to view whats on my laptop screen on my TV, as well as internet/media etc? I have been given this link - http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=115137&doy=24m5&criteria=pc%20to%20tv%20wireless, but have read that using the internet at the same time may interfere with this device under the FAQ section. Can I not use a different frequency? or channel? or is there another solution?
Cheers Chris

Ensure that you have a wireless card installed on your laptop. Also, please check the BIOS when it boots, you might want to take a look at the option within the BIOS to make sure there's not a specific setting you can change that might facilitate the external monitor. Sometimes the BIOS will have multiple options for the video:
1. Internal monitor only. 2. Internal + External 3. External only.
The BIOS can normally be accessed by pressing one of these keys during startup: F1, F2, F10, DEL.
